Processing of personal data

1. Provision of the website and creation of log files

Every time you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits certain data that is stored for technical reasons. This information is stored in log files in our system. This data will not be combined with your other personal data.

We process your data temporarily in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b GDPR. 6 sec. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The temporary processing of your IP address is necessary for us to enable the website to be provided on your device. We also use your personal data to optimize our website and ensure the security of our information technology systems. Your data will not be processed for marketing purposes. These reasons also lie in our legitimate interest in processing your personal data.

The aforementioned personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose of processing. This is the case when the respective session has been ended by you. IP addresses that are processed in log files are deleted after seven days. Longer storage only makes sense if your IP address is deleted or altered. In this case, it would not be possible for us to draw any conclusions about you from the IP address.

The processing of this data cannot be objected to as it is necessary for the website to function.

2. Cookies

Our website uses so-called “cookies” to recognize you as a user and to make the site easier to use. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device by your web browser. We often use “session cookies”, which are automatically deleted at the end of your session. We also use so-called “persistent cookies” that remain on your device until you delete them manually. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website.

You can check which cookies are stored on your device in your web browser settings. There you also have the option of specifying whether cookies should be permitted in individual cases, generally rejected or automatically deleted when you close the browser. Please note that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

We use cookies to improve the user-friendliness of our website. Some functions of our website require that the accessing browser be identified even after a page change. We store and use login information that is required for input masks.

We process your personal data in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. 6 sec. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. We use technical cookies that are necessary to optimize the use of our website. Otherwise we would not be able to offer certain functions on our website. For these functions, it is important that your web browser is recognized even after you change pages. This also serves to protect our legitimate interest in processing your personal data.

Cookies that are stored on your device transmit their information to our website. This gives you full control over how long cookies store your personal data. You can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies in the settings of your web browser. Cookies that have already been saved can be deleted at any time, and this can also be done automatically. Please note that deactivating cookies may mean that some functions of our website may no longer be fully available.

3. Contact form

If you send us inquiries using the contact form, the information you provide, including your contact details, will be stored by us in order to process the inquiry and for possible follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on without your express consent. The data entered in the contact form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time informally by email. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected.

The data provided in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose of data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been finally processed). Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Rights of the data subject

With regard to the processing of your personal data on our website, you are the data subject within the meaning of the GDPR, therefore you have the following rights towards us:

Right to information

You have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us at any time. This includes information about the origin, recipients or categories of recipients to whom we transfer your data, as well as the purposes for which we process your personal data.

Right to rectification and deletion

You have the right to request the correction of incorrect personal data concerning you and the completion of incomplete personal data. You can request that we delete your personal data immediately. We are obliged to delete it immediately unless we are obliged to continue processing your personal data due to contractual and/or legal regulations. This is the case, for example, if we are prohibited from deleting data for tax reasons. In such a case, we will restrict processing and delete the relevant personal data immediately after the retention period has expired.

Right to data portability

You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, if this is technically possible. In addition, you have the right to transmit this data to another person responsible without hindrance.

Right to complain to a supervisory authority

In the event of data protection violations, the person affected has the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority.
